I recently attended the event at the Gunpowder Museum with Ray Lowe.  It was a terrific day where I learnt SO much about how to take better portraiture.  Ray was witty, slightly controversial at times, charming, extremely knowledgeable with a wealth of experience that he willingly shared.  He answered questions, set challenges and demonstrated the HOW in his work as well as the WHY.  Our models were lovely, very accommodating, flexible and patient as we sought to practice Ray's tips. The TimeLine team, as usual, ensured the day was well-planned, the venue had plenty of rustic and rugged charm, we had plenty of variety and that everyone's needs were met.  It was a super training event, very enjoyable and I learnt so much!  Many thanks - in particular to Ray for sharing his expertise to make us a better photographer!

I recently attended the photoshoot of Jaguars and Tornado's at RAF Cosford, on both evenings and came away with some very pleasing results. Each evening was different and Neil and the team were fantastic in the way they set up photoshoots with the enactors. The lighting effects in the hanger were really cool. I particularly liked the red, white and blue, illuminating a Jaguar. The enactors worked extremely hard on both days. There was even an excellent evening meal provided. Thank you to everyone who helped set this up.

Ropley station evening shoot: I think the light was in our favor. The reenactors were impeccably turned out. The staff at Watercress were very accommodating and of course TLE organisation was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening shoot. I think I captured some shots I will keep. I know I haven't been shy posting them on my forums. I'm a member of Watercress, I think it has some fabulous locations to photograph. Some of the images I've seen from the other participants are beautifully presented. I've definitely picked up some tips & tricks. Looking forward to revisiting Watercress with TLE in the near future. Having thoroughly enjoyed the 'Jaguar and Tornado' night shoot at RAF Cosford in January 2017, I could not miss the latest event at Cosford in which there were also three Harriers present in three very differing marks. Again, a great afternoon and evening event, loads of photo opportunities both inside the hangar and outside, with even an hour of late sunshine to light everything up against a dark sky background. The addition of the sky-lift was a very welcome new feature and all of the TLE and RAF teams did all they could to help, assist and move things about whenever asked, all done with a smile too. A great event and one to which I would  return in the future.

I recently attended the S&R event at Midsomer Norton on the 9th of September with TimeLine. If I am being honest I did not know what to expect as it was the first time I had ever done a photo shoot of this kind. I also thought, after looking on the S&R website, that the day may have have been lacking content due to what was being shown. How wrong could I have been, the event was fantastic and the day was packed with content. You could see that Neil had clearly done his homework by the number of photo opportunities that were set up for us to photograph during the day. I would certainly recommend TimeLine as my expectations of the event were blown away ............ thanks Neil I cannot wait until my next event 10 out of 10 sir.

I did the Vulcan night shoot and had an incredible day. A great deal of thought had gone into the perfect scenes for photographers, particularly liked the re-enactors freezing as slow shutter speeds had to be used. I can confirm from my images there was little or no movement. Well done to them. Also liked that a tent had been provided to keep dry as the start of our shoot was wet. If I had to be critical at all I would have liked somewhere to sit, just some benches in the tent would have done. Also at times there was far too many people, some not recognising that they were not the only ones trying to get shots. I would be prepared to pay more and have less people but these are only small issues. A really enjoyable day and I got some great shots. Looking forward to doing many more.
