 I had a fabulous day out at Papplewick pumping station (Nottinghamshire) where I met ladies and gentlemen of Victorian Steampunk persuasion. They were all superbly dressed, very photogenic, happy to pose as instructed amidst the engineering backdrop of the Victorian pumping station. Recently had my first outing with Timeline Events at Stow Maries World War One airfield. It was an excellent event producing plenty of great photo opportunities and was a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised experience. Thank you Neil, the TLE team and all at Stow Marie's.

This week saw my first outing with TLE, a charter with GWR 0-6-0PT 1369 on the South Devon Railway from Buckfastleigh.  The day was most enjoyable!  Within the limitations imposed by a lack of watering facilities (for the loco, not the participants!) and the fickle nature of the sun, the event was well-run and I came away with some nice shots.  I've already booked up for a second event with TLE next month, and expect I will do more in the future.  Highly recommended!

Thank you for a great day at the Thames Barges on Saturday.  Plenty of opportunity to get some great shots of the barges and the weather was perfect. I hope to join you at another event in the future.

I recently attended the S&R event at Midsomer Norton on the 9th of September with TimeLine. If I am being honest I did not know what to expect as it was the first time I had ever done a photo shoot of this kind. I also thought, after looking on the S&R website, that the day may have have been lacking content due to what was being shown. How wrong could I have been, the event was fantastic and the day was packed with content. You could see that Neil had clearly done his homework by the number of photo opportunities that were set up for us to photograph during the day. I would certainly recommend TimeLine as my expectations of the event were blown away ............ thanks Neil I cannot wait until my next event 10 out of 10 sir.

I had my first experience with Timeline Events on Monday 28th August at Didcot Railway Centre with two giants - 60103 Flying Scotsman & 60009 Union Of South Africa. First to be able to photograph there two locos together is a dream come true and Timeline Events made this happen. I found the hole experience a fantastic and enjoyable one with lots and lots of wonderful photos to cherish. I've even had one made into a jigsaw puzzle. They provide fantastic backdrops and reenactors to the events which makes the hole theme come to life. I met some lovely people there as well. I recommend anyone who is interested in photography should experience these wonderful events, well worth the money and I can't wait to do another one - don't tell the wife though!
