Powerboat Racing on the Solent or any TLE event on the Solent. I've been on 4 in recent months. Yacht races and high speed boat pursuits. Highly recommended if only for the experience of the day. Photography is challenging and the weather can be challenging too but the Wow factor is worth the effort without doubt in my view. Alan P

Fengate Farm Weeting 02-10-2019: The weather could not have been better, Sony turned up with cameras & lenses, WEX sponsored Sony, TLE used it's charm and organisational expertise to organise a fantastic day on the farm. The Farm & land army girls along with the steam machine men were outstanding, putting on a fabulous show for us. Breakfast & Lunch were available. The bottom line will be the quality of the images captured. I hope people will post the good ones. I used a AR7III + FF 24-105 f4 lens supplied by Sony plus my own Olympus EM1-X + a 100-400 Leica Zoom (FF 200-800). I had the full range 24mm-800mm to work with. All in all test of equipment and skill in near perfect conditions. Top marks on the day for The Fengate Farm Crew, WEX, Sony & TLE. Alan P

This was my third visit to Weeting and seventh TLE event. Once again it was an excellent event with lots of different set ups and settings including threshing, ploughing, log sawing and transport. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the wonderful re-enactors obliged us with all kind of poses without looking too staged. Neil and his team must be praised for the way they put these events together. This review cannot be complete with mention for the catering staff who served us up wonderful refreshments. Alan P

I Very much enjoyed my day on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway on March 28th photographing 'Hercules'. As a disabled person it was easy to access the railway and the other participants were both helpful and friendly, as were those in charge of the event.I am limited to what I can do but I came away happy with some images I was really happy with. I had a memorable day photographing HSL 102 and MGB 81 on May 8th. The day was brilliant, well organise, even the weather was fair and the photo opportunities limitless. A great day, I can really recommend it.

This was my first TimeLine steam event. As someone who runs their own events I was really impressed at the professional organisation, the great lighting and the determination to ensure everyone got great opportunities. well done Team TimeLine!
