Fantastic day out on the Solent chasing the yachts competing in the Cowes Regatta. Neil was most helpful and David the Skipper was superb. The weather was kind and I got some fantastic shots. See the Timeline Facebook site. Will be booking for next year!

Ropley station evening shoot: I think the light was in our favor. The reenactors were impeccably turned out. The staff at Watercress were very accommodating and of course TLE organisation was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening shoot. I think I captured some shots I will keep. I know I haven't been shy posting them on my forums. I'm a member of Watercress, I think it has some fabulous locations to photograph. Some of the images I've seen from the other participants are beautifully presented. I've definitely picked up some tips & tricks. Looking forward to revisiting Watercress with TLE in the near future. I recently attended the Oliver Cromwell photo shoot on the GCR. This was my first event of this kind that I have ever done and what a great day I had. It was the first time I had taken any night shots and I was pleased with the results. Having all day to concentrate on photography with one of my favorite subject matters gave me time to explore and experiment with my camera. I have now booked another with you for the Bruntingthorpe event and also put some pictures on Flickr (TLE page). Again that is something I have not done before so another learning curve there! Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Evening with Tornado at Didcot Railway Centre - This was my first event with TimeLine Events and I have to say that despite the best efforts of the weather to ruin things it was a really enjoyable evening. I had the chance to take pictures that I would normally never be able to. The lighting and the re-enactors really gave it that something extra. It also helped for me, a novice at this sort of thing, to have people around me who knew what they were doing to setup the shots and give me inspiration. After viewing some of the pictures others posted I now have even more ideas for the next time - I'm sure there will be a next time, since this went so well and was so enjoyable. Thanks to Neil and the team, the crew of Tornado and of course the re-enactors.

I Very much enjoyed my day on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway on March 28th photographing 'Hercules'. As a disabled person it was easy to access the railway and the other participants were both helpful and friendly, as were those in charge of the event.I am limited to what I can do but I came away happy with some images I was really happy with. A fantastic well organised event by TLE and the re-enactors. They know how to setup an event, lots of photo opportunities for amateurs and professional, at all levels of experience. Worth the expense and travel to see the Lancaster with the engine run.
