Powerboat Racing on the Solent or any TLE event on the Solent. I've been on 4 in recent months. Yacht races and high speed boat pursuits. Highly recommended if only for the experience of the day. Photography is challenging and the weather can be challenging too but the Wow factor is worth the effort without doubt in my view. Alan P

 I had a fabulous day out at Papplewick pumping station (Nottinghamshire) where I met ladies and gentlemen of Victorian Steampunk persuasion. They were all superbly dressed, very photogenic, happy to pose as instructed amidst the engineering backdrop of the Victorian pumping station. A truly fabulous day out and shared with many like minded photographers. Nigel S

If you missed a chance to photograph the High Speed Launch at Portsmouth you really missed out! What an opportunity, brilliantly organised by Neil the two skippers co ordinated perfectly to give every chance of fantastic shots. Perfect weather with a slight chop and moody skies allowing moody shots but it would have been great in any weather.

I Very much enjoyed my day on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway on March 28th photographing 'Hercules'. As a disabled person it was easy to access the railway and the other participants were both helpful and friendly, as were those in charge of the event.I am limited to what I can do but I came away happy with some images I was really happy with. Just a short note to say how much I enjoyed the above. This was my first TimeLine Event, and I shall definitely be back to do some more. The re-enactors really suit the environment in which they belong and I thought the smoke machines really added to the atmosphere! Thanks again!

Blists Hill (Victorian Town), makes an impressive backdrop, for re-creating scenes from the past. A first class set of re-enactors, happily posed throughout the evening, in various cameo's set up by the TLE team, Neil, David and Nick. As the light faded, the scenes were carefully illuminated, and the smoke machine came into play, to re-create those misty scenes from the 1940's. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, which produced excellent photographic results.
