Join us for an evening recreating the Victorian steam era at the Bluebell’s Sheffield Park Station 

We are delighted to be returning to the Bluebell Railway in early 2025 for an evening of photography at Sheffield Park Station.

We will have a locomotive and rolling stock appropriate to the Victorian era. Depending upon which loco has been rostered for half term public services, we will use either 01 Class 0-6-0 No.65 in South Eastern & Chatham Railway livery or A1 Class Terrier No.72 in London, Brighton & South Coast Railway livery, both of which carry authentic pre-Grouping colours. In addition, we will have a small number of quality re-enactors dressed to match the time period of the train and bring the platform scenes to life.

In order to ensure a comfortable experience for participants, we will limit the number of photographers attending so please book early to avoid disappointment. We expect to run from 18.00 until 21.00 hours. The cafe will be open for at least the first part of the evening so that those arriving early can obtain hot food, and hot drinks can be served. It is expected that either the Metropolitan set or the rake of four-wheel coaches will be in operation for public service trains and we will use one of these sets for our evening shoot. This means that there will also be the opportunity of riding service trains should you wish to make a full day of it!
