About this event
Let us take you on a photography adventure at night in the city as
we take you around some of the best locations to capture a variety of subjects: models, re-enactors characters, transport
and cityscapes! For those of you that remember Photo 24 (24 hours of
photography in London) we are delighted to have teamed up with Will
Cheung once again to bring you Photo 12- 12 hours of photography in the city! Our last event that ran in April was a roaring success- seeing us capture great images in a friendly group with will offering top tips and advice on settings.
Our ballet dancer for around Southbank will be Julia Skar:

This time around we are also offering an optional add on of a ride on the London eye in our own privately hired pod with Will. This will take place from 17:15-17:45 so you can capture sunset afterwards from the Southbank and surrounding areas. You can book this here for an extra £40.

Starting in Westminster we will all meet up with Will Cheung and
joining us will be a model
and a ballet dancer so you can capture great urban portraiture and city
scapes around the area. Our group will be split into different shooting
areas with our models and as well as capturing great environmental
portraiture we will also be doing street photography and city scape
session in this iconic area.
Olga Solo at Southbank from our last photo 12 event:
After the our session of photographing in Westminster we will board a vintage London bus, joined by our
dancer and model plus 1960s re-enactors so that we can capture
portraiture in a different location and also use the bus as a prop. With
the event starting in the evening and running overnight this offers
excellent
opportunities to capture the bus within the city when the streets are
quiet and the dawn breaking over Waterloo bridge for sunrise. Locations
visited plan to include Westminster, Trafalgar Square the City including Bank and
Leadenhall, St.Pauls Cathedral and Tower bridge. There will be a change up from the April event so lots of variety for anyone wanting to join us again who joined us for the last one. So hop on board and
join
us for the second 2026 Photo 12 London photography challenge and fill up your
memory cards with wonderful imagery.
Will Cheung

Joining us will be Will Cheung who will be on hand to offer photo
tips and advice. Will is a freelance photographer and journalist who
edited
Practical Photography, Digital Photo, Photography Monthly, Advanced
photographer and Photography News. He is a fellow of the RPS and sits in
on the travel distinctions panel. Well known within the indusrty we are
delighted to have teamed up with him for this special event.

This promises to be another great event with London offering so many wonderful urban scenes!

Schedule:
Starting at 7:30pm in Westminster with our models and characters we will capture
urban portraits and cityscapes around the area with the fantastic London skyline as a
backdrop. For those doing the London eye add on the event will begin at 17:15 as you board our privately hired pod. Will Cheung will be on hand to offer you expert guidance and photo tips on the eye and afterwards.
We will also have our own privately hired vintage London bus waiting for us to board after we depart Southbank for the second phase of the event. After boarding we will take you on a photography tour of the sights and joining us for part of the night will be our models and re-enactors. You will be able to capture images of our models both inside and outside the bus and around the streets and landmarks of the stop off locations. With the event running overnight this offers excellent opportunities to capture the bus within the city and city scapes when the streets are quiet. The event then finishes with capturing the sunrise over Waterloo bridge. Locations visited will include Southbank, St. Pauls Cathedral, Bank, Picadilly Circus plus more. This promises to be a great event so why not take on the challenge with a like minded group!
The photo challenge will finish at 07:30am after we capture sunrise from 06:30 from the Golden Jubilee bridge in Charing Cross and the bus will return to Westminster.

Our lovely vintage iconic London bus with
stops offs for breaks and refreshments will ensure a comfortable ride and base for
all throughout the night and safe storage of bags etc.
