An afternoon of photography with paddle steamer Waverley

One of the most majestic vessels to grace the shores of the British Isles is returning to the Solent this September. Having spent time with the Waverley in the last few years we couldn't resist setting sail with her once again for this special day. We are only offering the one trip this year with her and only 11 places are available so don't miss out on this fantastic photographic opportunity.

At times this is fast action packed sailing as we speed around Waverley capturing her from all angles! Waverley is no sloth, with her averaging 16 knots as she makes her way from Southampton round the Needles & Freshwater Bay. We will be working hard to keep ahead of the vessels while capturing some iconic images with wonderful backdrops of the Isle Of Wight! If you love engineering heritage and great ships this really is a great day out for you!

The 18th of September will see us on the Solent picking up with her outside of Southampton water's as she starts her trip. We will have the opportunity to photograph her with views such as the famous Needles Rocks with their lighthouse, the multi coloured sandstone cliffs of Alum Bay and the towering chalk cliffs of Freshwater Bay. View St Catherine's Point, the towns of Ventnor and Shanklin and the yachting Capital of Cowes. Our estimated departure time is 11am with an estimated return time of 5pm. 

Places are limited to 11 due to insurance and the boat we will be aboard. Our boat for the day is Anchorman, a large Catamaran that is perfect for photography with its large rear deck and top speed of 28knots. Our skipper is an extremely experienced sailor so you are assured of a great safe day in the thick of all the action.
