About this event

This Autumn we are very pleased to announce that we will be running an event with a GR3 Harrier, one that has never been seen before on one of our events, or any photographic event! This now privately owned ex military Jump Jet is nestled in Shropshire, and will be put on show for our photographic pleasure! This is most likely the only running ex military Harrier in the UK, and we are very pleased that this event will help support the future costs of its maintenance by its owner who is dedicated to keeping her a live aircraft. We have priced this day with this in mind and we hope that you will agree it is money worth spending to allow us to enjoy the roar of the live engines and admire her form as she taxies on the grass.

On site we will also have professional RAF personnel re-enactors who will be adding to the experience by providing us with authentic scenes and a wonderful human interest. After dark we will then re-situate the Jet inside its hanger and bring out the smoke machines and lighting to create special effects photography! This promises to be a fantastic photography event which will offer a vast variety of image opportunities, as well as getting you up and close and personal with a fantastic example of aviation history!

History:
The harrier did its first flight in 1971 at Dunsfold, and performed various excercised including 'Cold winter 80' in Norway. Since she has appeared in various air shows around the country before being sold privateley in 2013.

Our day will begin in the late afternoon- approx 15:30 and we will be running into the evening finishing up at approx 21:00. This will allow us to take full advantage of the evening light, giving us the opportunity  to capture this wonderful aircraft at Sunset. The exact location will be confirmed near to the event but the nearest town is Bridgenorth.

Spaces are limited and we expect this event to be popular so we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.
