About this event
Join us as we take you back to the roaring 1970's, where flares and short skirts ruled the streets! It is safe to say that this is one of the most iconic fashion eras, where an electric mix of styles and colour set the 70's scene for a decade of fun! Come with us as we re-create these charming looks at Waverley Abbey house for what promises to be a varied and picturesque day of fashion & portraiture. With beautiful period models and lovely period backdrops we aim to have you coming home with plenty of eye catching images! The historical settings will aim to push the boundaries of your photography, giving you the opportunity to photograph both in an indoor and outdoor setting.
Waverley House was built in 1725 and is steeped in history and has had several owners including Florence Nightingale's uncle. It was also used as a military hospital during the first world war and over 5000 soldiers received care here. We have exclusive use of our own room and also have use of the main staircase for photography which will provide us with some lovely period interiors. We will also be able to photograph around the grounds (weather permitting).
What to expect:
- Beautiful fashion models
- A stately home full of character
