About this event

Professional photography trainer Clive Greenland will be leading this day, and will be teaching you the best settings and techniques to achieve sharp and stunning wildlife images! Are you struggling to get eye catching wildlife images? Are they not as sharp as you would like? On this course we aim to give you the technique and skills that you need to make the most out of your camera when capturing wildlife.

To get the most out of this training day you need to have a good understanding of ISO, aperture and shutter speed and know your way around the menus systems in your camera. You will also be encouraged to push the boundaries of what can be achieved using manual mode and modifying the intelligent auto focus settings and adding custom settings. Other photography skills such as creativity, style, composition and impact within an image will be taught to make your photos excel.

Our photography will include birds such as Black Kites, Great Grey Owl, Vultures and many more!

This exclusive training day is limited to just 12 places; we will have our own dedicated training room. Throughout the day we will get out and around the centre to watch three flying displays, capturing portraits and birds in flight.

Arrival time from 10:00 for tea and coffee, start time 10:30. We will break for an inclusive lunch at around 12.30 and finish at 4:30.  There will be comfort breaks throughout the training with tea and coffee provided.  The Hawk Conservancy is open to 5:30, which will provide an opportunity to have a look around the birds of prey and use the skills learnt on the training day to snap a few more images.

Photography can be very rewarding and difficult all at the same time and this training will really push the boundaries of both of those statements with birds in flight.

As a pre-requisite we advise all attendees have:
•    Intermediate and advanced photography knowledge
•    Good experience of settings ISO, aperture, shutter speeds and camera menu settings
If you are not quite to this level then we have a beginners photography course running at this loaction in March which you may be interested in as this will give you the advice you need to attend this training day: Beginners Photography Training day

Price includes, tea / coffees, lunch, photography training and flying displays!
