About this event

Join us this Autumn for a photography landscape trip to one of the UK s most picturesque locations: the Lake District. TimeLine Events has once again teamed up with photographer and tutor Don Bishop to offer this fantastic landscape photography workshop, spread out over 3 days to offer you 2 dawns and 3 sunsets as well as plenty in-between. This is the perfect opportunity to really hone your skills in landscape photography by getting expert advice in some fantastic locations. The costs of the course includes en suite hotel accommodation near Keswick, breakfasts and a packed lunch for each day.

The Lake District, famous for its rolling hills and shimmering lakes is home to some very unique and picturesque places, including the charming Ullswater, Derwentwater and Buttermere.  It is a place that inspires the imagination, and certainly offers plenty for landscape photography enthusiasts. The lovely landscapes of this county with its ever changing weather means that there are some fantastic opportunities for capturing beautiful Autumnal imagery. Our aim is to give you the best tips and advice to achieve stunning and eye catching landscape photographs by taking you to some of the best locations on offer in this area. Professional landscape photographer Don Bishop will be guiding you through camera settings, composition and also post processing techniques to bring out the best in your images. He will be sharing his experience and knowledge of this wonderful subject as well as the weather with the aim of having you coming home with images that you are truly proud of.

Don Bishop has been a keen enthusiast photographer for over 30 years, initially concentrating for the majority of that time on photographing his other great passion steam trains. He went full time professional in 2006 and increased the time spent on landscape subjects and now has a comprehensive collection of fine art prints available of coast, country and mountain areas of the UK. His images are frequently published in magazines and he loves sharing his passion of photography and helping others improve their skills by offering expert tuition.

The course fee includes 2 nights accommodation on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th October in an en suite room with breakfast each morning and a packed lunch each day. Purchase your own dinners in the evening, we will organise a group booking so we can all eat together in the evenings in a local pub. Transport for each day of the trip is also included as we have 3 drivers and cars to drive everyone around each day to all of the photo locations.
