A Spring evening of photography back in 1940 as we re-create scenes with a host of re-enactors, a replica aircraft, night shoot, vintage car, briefing room and much more!

About this event
Join us as we take you back in time to capture scenes that would have been found on an airfield during the Battle of Britain. We will have a host of re-enactors spread out around the large site offering plenty of different scenes for you to capture.
Image by Kevin BlakeThe We’ll Meet Again museum is an award-winning WW2 Homefront Museum, offering lovely natural backdrops and plenty of props for our photography day all centred around the Hawker Hurricane. As well as having many different cameo areas including a briefing room, and airfield defence tent we will also have use of the lovely replica Hawker Hurricane that was used on the set of the 1969 Battle of Britain film.

We expect to have in excess of 10 re-enactors each portraying different airfield staff & crew so this is a great opportunity to get historic portraits and working airfield scenes.
