Short notice yes but do you really want to miss this landmark opportunity as history is made? It is with great excitement and pleasure we will be on the Solent this Wednesday to welcome Aircraft Carrier Quen Elizabeth to her new home in Portsmouth Harbour.
The future flagship of the Royal Navy, HMS Queen Elizabeth will be arriving in her homeport of Portsmouth on the morning of Wednesday 16th August on the high tide at around 07.00 but please be aware this is subject to a number of caveats, weather and serviceability of the ship. However the great advantage of being on a privately chartered boat is we can go to her and place ourselves where we want to get the best out of the conditions. Like our recent trip to photograph the George W Bush Carrier, the weather wasn’t the best but having total control of our boat got the best of opportunities available to us.
Please note, like all naval shipping movements, this plan could change and is subject to operational, technical or weather considerations.
This trip is limited to 12 photographers due to insurance and MCA rules.
