About this event

We are pleased to present this day of model portraiture at Clay Mills Pumping Station with Sony. With excellent access to the site we will be setting up eye catching and unique scenes with beautiful and professional models. This session promises plenty of variety for environmental portraiture, lighting and shooting locations and Sony staff will be on hand to offer tips and advice.

We are offering a very special price for this event, tickets are usually £99 but we are offering tickets for just £45 each. Spaces are limited so book early to avoid dissapointment.

This event is ideal for DSLR users who are looking to switch to Sony mirrorless cameras. It’s also ideal for any existing Sony users who would like to upgrade their kit and to test out the latest Sony gear. Therefore, no other camera brands will be allowed. Sony cameras and lenses will be available on a first come first served basis subject to availability. Exclusive Sony offers will be available on the day with a UK retailer including the opportunity to trade in your gear against new Sony gear.

Claymills is a restored Victorian pumping station and it was designed by James Mansergh and the main pumping plant consists of four Woolf compound, rotative, beam pumping engines. These are arranged in mirror image pairs, in two separate engine houses, with a central boiler house (containing five Lancashire boilers with economisers) and chimney. The engines were built in 1885 by Gimson and Company of Leicester. It is one of only three pumping stations of this size and completeness to survive in England and will provide us with a wonderful variety of backdrops and scenes. We will have exclusive use of the site and unlimited tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

The timings for this session is 14:00-17:00.

This event is limited to just a small group of photographers so book now to avoid dissapointment. We also have a second session running from 14:00 - 17:00
