About this event

Join us in the early Autumn with Clive Greenland for a 2 day workshop of learning and wildlife photography. Professional photography trainer Clive Greenland will be leading this course, and will be teaching you the best settings and techniques to achieve sharp and stunning wildlife images with a good mix of tutorials and practical photography. In the mornings Clive will be delivering training in a learning room at the reserves visitors centre, and we will spend the afternoons out on the reserve photographing the beautiful birds. A guided tour of the 176-hectare nature reserve at Cley Marshes with a ranger is included and Clive will be on hand to give support and continue the training throughout the afternoons of practical photography. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife to photograph such as the marsh harrier, bearded reedling, Eurasian bittern and the avocet. Eurasian spoonbills, ruffs and black-tailed godwits are present for much of the year.

The course fee includes teas, coffees and lunch on both days.

To get the most out of this wildlife course you need to have a good understanding of ISO, aperture and shutter speed and know your way around the menus systems in your camera. You will be encouraged to push the boundaries of what can be achieved using manual mode and modifying the intelligent auto focus settings and adding custom settings. Other photography skills such as creativity, style, composition and impact within an image will be taught to make your photos excel.
