Had a greatly enjoyable day at North Weald last week, the mid-day American Pin-up event Wed 31 Aug, thanks to good weather. A bit bright at times, but manageable (well for those with more skilled than me!), good company and organisation (thanks Neil), not forgetting the very helpful and cooperative models (Annette, Pearl, Sugar and Isabella), nor the Hangar 11 guys and the plane, jeep and motorbike owner who let us use the planes as backdrops...

It was my first such model shoot and not really my scene (he claims!) but was good fun. Thanks to all involved.

I've attended six TLE events so far this year and have got four more arranged for the rest of 2017. On every one I've come away with fantastic images as a result of the superb locations, subjects, re-enactors and organisation by Neil and the rest of the TLE crew.  Almost certainly, places like RAF Cosford, or subjects like USS George HW Bush or HMS Queen Elizabeth would be difficult or impossible to photograph close up without TimeLine Events!

My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. Great evening at Didcot shed - organisation was very good as were the re-enactors. Some very atmospheric cameos and very pleased with my images. Well done Neil and the team.

A great event last friday evening at STEAM in Swindon. The set ups were really good with so many re-enactors giving the impression of a busy station. The smoke machines worked a treat creating a realistic atmosphere. A mention here for Zab who worked hard all evening marshalling the re-enactors for us to get such good pictures.

Many thanks to Neil and his team for a great evening at Milestones Museum on 22nd Jan.2019. The lighting and the cameo setups were,as usual, excellent. A great venue to be indoors on this particular event. Looking forward to my next TLE event - London Buses on 23rd Feb.
