Had a greatly enjoyable day at North Weald last week, the mid-day American Pin-up event Wed 31 Aug, thanks to good weather. A bit bright at times, but manageable (well for those with more skilled than me!), good company and organisation (thanks Neil), not forgetting the very helpful and cooperative models (Annette, Pearl, Sugar and Isabella), nor the Hangar 11 guys and the plane, jeep and motorbike owner who let us use the planes as backdrops...

It was my first such model shoot and not really my scene (he claims!) but was good fun. Thanks to all involved.

I recently attended the photoshoot of Jaguars and Tornado's at RAF Cosford, on both evenings and came away with some very pleasing results. Each evening was different and Neil and the team were fantastic in the way they set up photoshoots with the enactors. The lighting effects in the hanger were really cool. I particularly liked the red, white and blue, illuminating a Jaguar. The enactors worked extremely hard on both days. There was even an excellent evening meal provided. Thank you to everyone who helped set this up.

I attended both the night shoots on the South Devon Railway, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Both events were well organised and provided a whole host of photographic opportunities. A credit to the TLE team.

My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. Ropley station evening shoot: I think the light was in our favor. The reenactors were impeccably turned out. The staff at Watercress were very accommodating and of course TLE organisation was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening shoot. I think I captured some shots I will keep. I know I haven't been shy posting them on my forums. I'm a member of Watercress, I think it has some fabulous locations to photograph. Some of the images I've seen from the other participants are beautifully presented. I've definitely picked up some tips & tricks. Looking forward to revisiting Watercress with TLE in the near future. The night shoot at Yorkshire air museum on 18/03/2016 was my third event organised by TLE, the other 2 being with Just Jane (Lancaster) at East Kirkby. As with the other events this was excellently staged with no rush to get that perfect shot. There was lots of opportunity to move around the scenes and line up the shots you want. The re-enactors were well presented and willing to please when people requested particular settings. Overall it was an excellent evening put well together by Neil and his team. Certainly won't be the last TLE event I attend. Thank you to everyone involved.
