Just Jane uncovered on January 21st, was a unique opertunity to view and photograph a Lancaster, stripped for restoration. This is something I shall probably never see again. The evening fulfilled all my expectations and I was able to come away with not only general shots, but also plenty of detailed ones. The lighting effects and re-enactors, just finished the evening off nicely.

Recently had my first outing with Timeline Events at Stow Maries World War One airfield. It was an excellent event producing plenty of great photo opportunities and was a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised experience. Thank you Neil, the TLE team and all at Stow Marie's.

I have now attended two timeline events one at RAF Cosford and more recently the Cowes Sailing Regatta. Both have been superbly organised, offering a unique perspective on the chosen subjects. I was initially reticent based on price, but after attending these two events, I will be booking others! I have taken by best ever photographs on these days, not only this I have also enjoyed the days out. In fact ththe cowes day would have been fantastic even without taking a picture! Throughly recommend!

Ropley station evening shoot: I think the light was in our favor. The reenactors were impeccably turned out. The staff at Watercress were very accommodating and of course TLE organisation was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening shoot. I think I captured some shots I will keep. I know I haven't been shy posting them on my forums. I'm a member of Watercress, I think it has some fabulous locations to photograph. Some of the images I've seen from the other participants are beautifully presented. I've definitely picked up some tips & tricks. Looking forward to revisiting Watercress with TLE in the near future. I Very much enjoyed my day on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway on March 28th photographing 'Hercules'. As a disabled person it was easy to access the railway and the other participants were both helpful and friendly, as were those in charge of the event.I am limited to what I can do but I came away happy with some images I was really happy with. Just to say many thanks, both to yourself, ‘Anchorman’ Dave, the crew of RAF 102, and of course the man upstairs, who was in charge of the weather, for a really superb day on the Solent yesterday. Anchorman has the speed, and flexibility, of chasing boats on water, which also enabled us to make good use of the prevailing weather conditions. I have rarely experienced such dramatic cloud backdrops, against a photographic subject. As for the awesome ‘demo’ by the Coastguard patrol, it was a privilege to be able to witness the precision of the crew, at such close hand. I look forward to next years Solent programme, you have certainly set the bar high after yesterday! Well done once again to all involved.
