I recently attended the Oliver Cromwell photo shoot on the GCR. This was my first event of this kind that I have ever done and what a great day I had. It was the first time I had taken any night shots and I was pleased with the results. Having all day to concentrate on photography with one of my favorite subject matters gave me time to explore and experiment with my camera. I have now booked another with you for the Bruntingthorpe event and also put some pictures on Flickr (TLE page). Again that is something I have not done before so another learning curve there! Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. If you missed a chance to photograph the High Speed Launch at Portsmouth you really missed out! What an opportunity, brilliantly organised by Neil the two skippers co ordinated perfectly to give every chance of fantastic shots. Perfect weather with a slight chop and moody skies allowing moody shots but it would have been great in any weather.

Just Jane uncovered on January 21st, was a unique opertunity to view and photograph a Lancaster, stripped for restoration. This is something I shall probably never see again. The evening fulfilled all my expectations and I was able to come away with not only general shots, but also plenty of detailed ones. The lighting effects and re-enactors, just finished the evening off nicely.

Yesterday I attended my first event with TimeLine at Middle Wallop. I’ve just got to say what a great time I had. It was a long day with travelling from London and we all had ample of time to set up and take some great photos, nothing was rushed. Even had time to relax in-between shooting the different aircrafts. Everything was done with great professionalism from start to finish. Despite a gloomy weather forecast, Saturdays photoshoot at North Weald, was absolutely superb, with excellent photo opportunities. Some late afternoon sunshine, preceded a clear evening, when both aircraft were 'fired up'. With thanks to Neil. his team, the re-enactors, and the chief pilot of Hanger 11, Peter Teichman.
