Went to the Gulf War Veterans on 14th October at Yorkshire Air Museum and like I knew would happen I wasn't disappointed. Was a great night as always. It was also great that we had the chance to take some photos with the use of smoke machines and different colour lights. Something you don't often get the chance to do, especially with aircraft at air museums. Look forward to future events where I am waiting for Neil and the team to pull something else out of the bag to surprise us all. 10/10. If you are ever thinking off booking one of these events, I recommend just book it, you wont be disappointed.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the 'Jaguar and Tornado' night shoot at RAF Cosford in January 2017, I could not miss the latest event at Cosford in which there were also three Harriers present in three very differing marks. Again, a great afternoon and evening event, loads of photo opportunities both inside the hangar and outside, with even an hour of late sunshine to light everything up against a dark sky background. The addition of the sky-lift was a very welcome new feature and all of the TLE and RAF teams did all they could to help, assist and move things about whenever asked, all done with a smile too. A great event and one to which I would return in the future.

My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. If you missed a chance to photograph the High Speed Launch at Portsmouth you really missed out! What an opportunity, brilliantly organised by Neil the two skippers co ordinated perfectly to give every chance of fantastic shots. Perfect weather with a slight chop and moody skies allowing moody shots but it would have been great in any weather.

Didcot 27th Oct. I experienced some fabulous opportunities to capture the Tornado Steam engine, steamed up and moving. I enjoyed some outstanding golden hour light plus lighting set up outside and in the sheds by Time Line Events throughout the nights event. The overall perspective of Didcot is very rich in authentic period scenes and atmosphere. The reenactors added the icing on the cake.

I recently attended my first TimeLine Event at Didcot, having just joined as a TLE member - Winter in the shed - what a great experience! Merging together my passion for social history and photography I was really looking forward to the event - and I wasn't disappointed! The venue was brilliant - old, authentic and atmospheric - even more so due to the smoke machines and steam from the trains. Together, with professional, flexible, approachable and adaptable re-enactors, the perfect backdrop and atmosphere for railway shots was created. The cameo's set up by the TLE team were thoughtful and considered and the team ensured each photographer got the shot they were after. Fellow photographers were polite, enthusiastic and willing to share their tips and techniques. I really enjoyed the event and have already booked up for several more in the near future!
