I did the Vulcan night shoot and had an incredible day. A great deal of thought had gone into the perfect scenes for photographers, particularly liked the re-enactors freezing as slow shutter speeds had to be used. I can confirm from my images there was little or no movement. Well done to them. Also liked that a tent had been provided to keep dry as the start of our shoot was wet. If I had to be critical at all I would have liked somewhere to sit, just some benches in the tent would have done. Also at times there was far too many people, some not recognising that they were not the only ones trying to get shots. I would be prepared to pay more and have less people but these are only small issues. A really enjoyable day and I got some great shots. Looking forward to doing many more.

Great evening at Didcot shed - organisation was very good as were the re-enactors. Some very atmospheric cameos and very pleased with my images. Well done Neil and the team.

Didcot 27th Oct. I experienced some fabulous opportunities to capture the Tornado Steam engine, steamed up and moving. I enjoyed some outstanding golden hour light plus lighting set up outside and in the sheds by Time Line Events throughout the nights event. The overall perspective of Didcot is very rich in authentic period scenes and atmosphere. The reenactors added the icing on the cake.

My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. I Very much enjoyed my day on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway on March 28th photographing 'Hercules'. As a disabled person it was easy to access the railway and the other participants were both helpful and friendly, as were those in charge of the event.I am limited to what I can do but I came away happy with some images I was really happy with. I recently attended my first TimeLine Event at Didcot, having just joined as a TLE member  - Winter in the shed - what a great experience! Merging together my passion for social history and photography I was really looking forward to the event - and I wasn't disappointed! The venue was brilliant - old, authentic and atmospheric - even more so due to the smoke machines and steam from the trains.  Together, with professional, flexible, approachable and adaptable re-enactors, the perfect backdrop and atmosphere for railway shots was created. The cameo's set up by the TLE team were thoughtful and considered and the team ensured each photographer got the shot they were after.  Fellow photographers were polite, enthusiastic and willing to share their tips and techniques.  I really enjoyed the event and have already booked up for several more in the near future!
