I have just attended the Didcot Steam Glamour event. This was my first location shoot with Timeline and I have to say how I was really impressed with the whole operation. The production team (helpful and professional), the models (glamorous, hard working & nothing-too-much-trouble) and the location (what's not to like about a train yard) all made the 3+ hours fly by. Highest recommendation and I'm looking for my next event. A big thanks to Neil and the Crew.

ProTog event at Didcot 21st Oct. The most fascinating experience I had during the event, were the lighting and smoke setups. Coupled with the tips given by Mark the Pro, it allowed me to extend my understanding of my Olympus camera and lens in low light situations (low & high ISO, tripod & handheld, Colour & B&W). The reenactors gave the evening a real sense of authenticity to the atmosphere of the steam sheds at night.

My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. My first of many, TimeLine Events was to the Halifax early in 2015. It was a well organised and friendly event, nothing was rushed. Neil and his team put together a fantastic night, the addition of re-enactors added depth to the day. My creative skills were challenged, and improved over the year. Roll on 2016 where I hope to challenge them further. In short, a fun event run by photographers for photographers of any level.

Well what can I say, the TLE team are truly first class, professional and thorough. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm ensures that firstly you enjoy every second of the event itself, and secondly and I suppose most importantly that you get the opportunity to get the shot you’ve been striving for. The events themselves are at some great locations and with fantastic subjects to boot with great re-enacters and scenarios all set up for you. I'’ve been on three of these shoots so far (Coventry Shackleton afternoon & night shoot, RAF Cosford Jaguar and Tornado night shoot, and Bruntingthorpe Cold War Jets night with the Buccaneers, Canberra and Hunter), and I have another two booked with TLE and will certainly be booking many more soon.  Hats off to Neil and the Team, top job! Keep up the good work.

As a regular visitor to East Kirkby and Just Jane, I enjoy the oppressive to take part in TLE. Neil & Alan are brilliant in the way that they are there for all your needs and are very approachable particularly if you need a little technical help. I’ve attended photography events with other operators where re-enactors forget they they are chiefly there for us the customers, but the way that Neil & Alan get the guys and girls to to do repeat walks, or when they hold a certain pose for a few seconds. The banter is also good, and I particularly like the fact that we are all encouraged to be friendly and aware of each and to be polite. I cannot recommend TLE highly enough and look forward to a shoot containing the Mosquito in 2020. Rob Hayton
