I attended the Location Portrait's Masterclass Workshop on June 6th at the wonderful Edwardian Waterworks at Twyford. Not only a fantastic setting in it's own right, but the workshop was overseen by Pro Ray Lowe who was a great character and gave advice and tips throughout the day. Been on a few Timeline Events workshops and as usual it was extremely well run, on this occasion by Emily. The two models on the day were a pleasure to photograph and as this was my first experience photographing models they made it easy and nothing was too much trouble, Lena especially was great to photograph & work with. Ended the day with what I think are some great shots and thoroughly recommend attending a Timeline Events "Adventure". Colin G

I can say that I went away from the day shattered, mainly due to the weather, but with a few nuggets that will certainly make me think a little more rather than just pointing the camera and hoping that a good photo is produced. I felt that I was encouraged to participate and found that Mark was only too pleased to help us one to one in the practical sessions.I thought the day was well structured and the group size was just right. I was happy with the general content together with the relaxed approach throughout the day.To sum up I thought that I got something from the day that I will now use going forward and it was great to spend time with other photographers all with the same goal. Just Jane uncovered on January 21st, was a unique opertunity to view and photograph a Lancaster, stripped for restoration. This is something I shall probably never see again. The evening fulfilled all my expectations and I was able to come away with not only general shots, but also plenty of detailed ones. The lighting effects and re-enactors, just finished the evening off nicely.

After attending my first event organised by yourselves along with East Kirkby Air Museum I would just like to say well done all round - even the weather was spot on! Just Jane at dusk was a photographic opportunity too good to miss, along with the re-enactors a great atmosphere was created and my photos have been 'liked' on a Nikon forum many times. I have already recommended Timeline to many friends and will continue to do so, I was particularly impressed with how you did your best to include everyone and make sure we all had the chance to 'move around' and get different angles. I didn't hear one person make a negative comment about your organisation, which says a lot in-its-self. So onto the future ... well when family members ask what I would like for Christmas I can see Timeline being mentioned! Well Done Guys.

Just a word of thanks for a superb event yesterday evening at the Midland Railway Centre. Breathing life into PMR was a masterstroke which no other operators can achieve and brought total realism to the situation. We were blessed with good weather and a fine sunset which just added to a memorable charter. Please extend my thanks to Pete and the MRC staff who helped to make this possible.

I did the Vulcan night shoot and had an incredible day. A great deal of thought had gone into the perfect scenes for photographers, particularly liked the re-enactors freezing as slow shutter speeds had to be used. I can confirm from my images there was little or no movement. Well done to them. Also liked that a tent had been provided to keep dry as the start of our shoot was wet. If I had to be critical at all I would have liked somewhere to sit, just some benches in the tent would have done. Also at times there was far too many people, some not recognising that they were not the only ones trying to get shots. I would be prepared to pay more and have less people but these are only small issues. A really enjoyable day and I got some great shots. Looking forward to doing many more.
