I can say that I went away from the day shattered, mainly due to the weather, but with a few nuggets that will certainly make me think a little more rather than just pointing the camera and hoping that a good photo is produced. I felt that I was encouraged to participate and found that Mark was only too pleased to help us one to one in the practical sessions.I thought the day was well structured and the group size was just right. I was happy with the general content together with the relaxed approach throughout the day.To sum up I thought that I got something from the day that I will now use going forward and it was great to spend time with other photographers all with the same goal. A great day ...... thank you very much.

My first of many, TimeLine Events was to the Halifax early in 2015. It was a well organised and friendly event, nothing was rushed. Neil and his team put together a fantastic night, the addition of re-enactors added depth to the day. My creative skills were challenged, and improved over the year. Roll on 2016 where I hope to challenge them further. In short, a fun event run by photographers for photographers of any level.

Ropley station evening shoot: I think the light was in our favor. The reenactors were impeccably turned out. The staff at Watercress were very accommodating and of course TLE organisation was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening shoot. I think I captured some shots I will keep. I know I haven't been shy posting them on my forums. I'm a member of Watercress, I think it has some fabulous locations to photograph. Some of the images I've seen from the other participants are beautifully presented. I've definitely picked up some tips & tricks. Looking forward to revisiting Watercress with TLE in the near future. My experience of the event RAF Launch HSL102 - Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2nd July 2019 was electrifying. To see this speed machine at close quarters in action was amazing. To read up on it's history made the experience even more rewarding. The photographic opportunities to capture it's speed and versatility while maneuvering at very close range was exhilarating. I've just attended the All American Pin-up shoot at North Weald, & can't praise it highly enough! It's my first time behind the camera at one of these events, having been involved as a re-enactor in the past. Pre shoot communications & the organisation was faultless, & I found everyone really friendly & helpful. That includes Neil & the TLE staff, all at Hangar 11, & the models.  I should also include the other photographers as well! What a friendly bunch, & all eager to share help & advice, & most considerate about keeping out of shot! I loved the event, shot hundreds of images, (several of which came out ok). I'll certainly consider another event in the future, and anyone who has thought about doing one, just do it!

This was my third visit to Weeting and seventh TLE event. Once again it was an excellent event with lots of different set ups and settings including threshing, ploughing, log sawing and transport. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the wonderful re-enactors obliged us with all kind of poses without looking too staged. Neil and his team must be praised for the way they put these events together. This review cannot be complete with mention for the catering staff who served us up wonderful refreshments. Alan P
