I've just attended the All American Pin-up shoot at North Weald, & can't praise it highly enough! It's my first time behind the camera at one of these events, having been involved as a re-enactor in the past. Pre shoot communications & the organisation was faultless, & I found everyone really friendly & helpful. That includes Neil & the TLE staff, all at Hangar 11, & the models.  I should also include the other photographers as well! What a friendly bunch, & all eager to share help & advice, & most considerate about keeping out of shot! I loved the event, shot hundreds of images, (several of which came out ok). I'll certainly consider another event in the future, and anyone who has thought about doing one, just do it!

Thank you for a great day at the Thames Barges on Saturday.  Plenty of opportunity to get some great shots of the barges and the weather was perfect. I hope to join you at another event in the future.

I was on the 1960s London photo charter last week and just wanted to say thank you. I really enjoyed the evening I have to say I always feel relaxed on these events and the locations chosen were brilliant and thank you to Neil and his team for a great evening and I hope to do many more night shoots in the future. Ropley station evening shoot: I think the light was in our favor. The reenactors were impeccably turned out. The staff at Watercress were very accommodating and of course TLE organisation was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening shoot. I think I captured some shots I will keep. I know I haven't been shy posting them on my forums. I'm a member of Watercress, I think it has some fabulous locations to photograph. Some of the images I've seen from the other participants are beautifully presented. I've definitely picked up some tips & tricks. Looking forward to revisiting Watercress with TLE in the near future. If you missed a chance to photograph the High Speed Launch at Portsmouth you really missed out! What an opportunity, brilliantly organised by Neil the two skippers co ordinated perfectly to give every chance of fantastic shots. Perfect weather with a slight chop and moody skies allowing moody shots but it would have been great in any weather.

Great bunch of like minded people putting on great events. Always good for trying out some new camera/lense or new techniques and always something great to capture whether it's a fighter jet or a train. Well worth the ticket fee.
