Fengate Farm Weeting 02-10-2019: The weather could not have been better, Sony turned up with cameras & lenses, WEX sponsored Sony, TLE used it's charm and organisational expertise to organise a fantastic day on the farm. The Farm & land army girls along with the steam machine men were outstanding, putting on a fabulous show for us. Breakfast & Lunch were available. The bottom line will be the quality of the images captured. I hope people will post the good ones. I used a AR7III + FF 24-105 f4 lens supplied by Sony plus my own Olympus EM1-X + a 100-400 Leica Zoom (FF 200-800). I had the full range 24mm-800mm to work with. All in all test of equipment and skill in near perfect conditions. Top marks on the day for The Fengate Farm Crew, WEX, Sony & TLE. Alan P

I have now attended two timeline events one at RAF Cosford and more recently the Cowes Sailing Regatta. Both have been superbly organised, offering a unique perspective on the chosen subjects. I was initially reticent based on price, but after attending these two events, I will be booking others! I have taken by best ever photographs on these days, not only this I have also enjoyed the days out. In fact ththe cowes day would have been fantastic even without taking a picture! Throughly recommend!

Blists Hill (Victorian Town), makes an impressive backdrop, for re-creating scenes from the past. A first class set of re-enactors, happily posed throughout the evening, in various cameo's set up by the TLE team, Neil, David and Nick. As the light faded, the scenes were carefully illuminated, and the smoke machine came into play, to re-create those misty scenes from the 1940's. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, which produced excellent photographic results.

I went on my first Timeline event at Buckfastleigh station for a night shoot. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening which was very well organised and have already booked my second shoot for later in the year.

I was on the 1960s London photo charter last week and just wanted to say thank you. I really enjoyed the evening I have to say I always feel relaxed on these events and the locations chosen were brilliant and thank you to Neil and his team for a great evening and I hope to do many more night shoots in the future. Fantastic photographic event with a classic 14XX and auto train on the South Devon Railway. The organisation was excellent and the weather superb. The shots of the train along the banks of the beautiful River Dart will be treasured. I was still smiling several days later!
