About this event
We are excited to bring you another TLE first. An afternoon on the Apron taking in the activities of the Army Air Corp at Wattisham Army Air Base where the UK Army Apache Force are stationed.
Our session will start with the usual brief before we head out to the Apron to experience the comings and goings of the Army's Frontline Apache Force. Types include D & E. You will experience the activity and preparations from start up to take off of these phenomenal fighting helicopters. We will then watch and photograph them returning and capture the handing back to the Ground Crew.
We will be on base from mid afternoon until just after Sunset guaranteeing some great opportunities as the light changes through our session. This is a really unique opportunity to see some frontline action and while doing so raise some much needed funds for the various charities that NATS & AAC are supporting in 2024.
There will be hot food and drinks available during the event but these details will be firmed up as we get closer and we will advise those that are successful in their booking.
The exact timings are to be confirmed but we are expecting the day to run from 15:00-20:00. Food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the event.
We expect this event to be very popular so please book early to avoid disappointment. The ticket price is slightly higher that usual as we are limited to 50 togs and want to raise as much money as possible for the charities involved.
This event will be raising money for the NATS charities.
