About this event
With Dinmore Manor booked to visit the Great Central Railway in January for the lines Winter Gala and currently carrying for a limited period only an all over black BR paint scheme we are extremely pleased to bring you a days photography with her on a prototypical BR 1950's train of 16T Minerals.
Our day will start at 8.00am giving us full line access until sunset with a short break around lunchtime. Our consis' for the day will be the railways totally authentic BR era Windcutters and a number of other open wagons creating a true open freight of around 25 wagons, not unlike in the image shown here. After dark we have planned a short night shoot with her back at Loughborough Station but at the head of the railways Red & Cream MK1 set. The night session is planned to end around 20.30, during the evening there will be the usual option of an evening meal, for a small additional charge.
The owning group and the GCR have agreed not to clean her before she arrives at the railway and during her appearance at the GC's Winter Gala thus giving us a work stained authentic appearance.
