About this event

As well as bringing you a host of different photographic events throughout the year we also run a small number of events that are based around learning but with some practical ‘hands on elements’. A number of these are in conjunction with other trainers that are specialist in their particular field of photography. One of our regular trainers is Ray Lowe, Chairman of the Master Photographers Association. Ray has trained many people over the years and in recent years a lot of our regulars have benefitted from his knowledge and experience. In this our latest event him will see Ray take to the stage in January and talk us through all the pitfalls and tips when it comes to photographing people. So bring your note book & pen, cameras at the ready and learn from the master, as he takes you on a step by step journey in the subject of glamour and portraiture photography.

With so many of our events having people in them, either as the main focus or on the periphery we felt this is an area that should be explored further through this session. So, on the 18th of January 2020 we are taking you to the next level with an event that we feel you won’t want to miss. Even if your chosen field of photography doesn’t usually include people we think this event will captivate and open up new opportunities for all that attend.

A fantastic full day of training, learning and hands on photography, is in store for everyone that attends this event. Starting the day with an in depth session by the master of portraiture Ray Lowe, we will then look forward to a working lunch break where you will be able to put what you have learnt into use with a fine selection of Re-Enactors that we will bring to the event for your enjoyment and photography before returning after lunch to the theatre to continue the learning experience.

During the lunch period the museum café will also be open for you to get something hot to eat and drink as well giving you the opportunity to chat with Ray and each other.

Our day will be fun, packed with knowledge, opportunities and above all give will give you some of the best information in the field of photographing people.

Not content with all this after the event we will also giving every attendee a £15.00 gift voucher that can be redeemed against any future TimeLine Event booked via our website. Details of this will be sent to you after the 18th of January.
