About this event
What better place to capture a vintage themed 1940's bride and groom than in the surroundings of a lovely period home and its gardens. With plenty of natural light and the use of the indoor interiors and outside grounds this day promises to offer a variety of photography opportunities. We will have professional and experienced wedding photographers on hand to offer you tips and advice on how to achieve lovely wedding photographs, and also to help guide you with camera settings and posing for great portraits.
Our lovely models for the day will be Charlie and Joplin who are also both a genuine couple which will make for nice and natural imagery. Charlie is a professional dancer and model, and Joplin is a fantastic musician. The day will begin in our own privately hired room with an introduction and inclusive tea and coffee. We will then photograph inside the house and then make our way outside to capture the couple around the grounds. This day is perfect for anyone with an interest in model photography or those starting out in wedding photography who want some eye catching images for their portfolio, and more experience in capturing a bride and groom on location.
Our day will start at 10:30 and finish up at 16:30 - 17:00.
About the location: Waverley House was built in 1725 and is is steeped in history and has had several owners including Florence Nightingale's uncle. It was also used as a military hospital during the first world war and over 5000 soldiers received care here. We have exclusive use of our own room and also have use of the main staircase for photography which will provide us with some lovely period interiors. We will also be abe to photograph around the grounds (weather permitting). This day is limited to a small group of photographers.
