TimeLine Events are pleased to be running this day of summer portraiture at the authentic Mid Suffolk Railway. This event will aim to push boundaries of your creativity and
deliver you a brilliant day of photography and learning. Join us at this fantastic location with exclusive access and 4 wonderful models and a professional photographer on hand who will be offering everyone tips and guidance to take stunning location portraiture. This promises to be a great day of variety and atmosphere.
The unique backdrops of the railway station will be fantastic in creating eye catching portraits and imagery, and we will have a loco in steam with carriages at our disposal for the entirety of the event. Not only will you be able to take images on the platform with the loco, but you will be able to go inside the historic carriages to capture beautiful portraiture with our own lighting and smoke machines available for you to use. Immerse yourselves into the inspirational
surroundings of this wonderful station to create images
that will stand out from the rest! TimeLine staff will also be on hand as well as the professional photographer to offer you photography tips and guidance for creating stunning images. Questions are very welcome throughout the day so this is also a perfect event for anyone wanting to have more practise and improve their model photography.
This event is open to 20 photographers only.

We will explore, discuss and put into practice
the following, during the event:
Creative approaches and compositional ideas
Shooting for magazines & competitions
Using models inconjuction with your lens apertures to create impact
Getting the best out of your lens and using depth of field
Shutter speed, aperture and ISOs for people photography
Shooting hand held
Using a reflector with natural light
Using constant light sources
Using a live model and directing your subject
This event will start at 11:00 with a brief introduction. Shooting will start straight after and we
will work on location around the station and with the loco and carriages until the event finishes at 17:00.
