About this event

        
Following on from previous successful visits to the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway and our recent visit in March we are pleased to be bringing you very special opportunity that for many is be the best combination we've offered to date and at an initial price that can't be beaten.








































































This visit will give those attending an opportunity to photograph Lydham Manor in her new BR Lined Green Livery that by the time we arrive next March should be a little more 'work worn', she will be paired with a rake of 4 or 5 MK1 Coaches. To make the most of our day we plan to turn her mid session so that we make the most of the opportunities available on this wonderful scenic railway. 




































Our visit in March we believe will see the railway at it best photographically with the sun being that bit higher but before the leaves appear and obscure some locations. This visit will see us travel on the train throughout the day and we will visit many of the classic location the line has to offer, these among others include, Waterside, Broadsands Viaduct and of course the wonderful Maypool Viaduct; a location that will benefit immensely for the time of year when there are no leaves on the trees.  






	
	
	




We have chosen to run this event on a Friday so that you can make a weekend of it if you so wish as South Devon offers much to see and do beyond the P&DSR. If you would like to bring your partner and they are not into photography they would still be most welcome to join us and travel with us during the day, however they will not be able to alight the train at some locations.  









Our day will start and finish at Paignton and as it is March and the sun rises earlier we plan to start the day at 07.00, with a short lunch break back at Paignton before returning to lineside location until around 17.00. All locations will be confirmed nearer the time but be assured we will do our best to fit in as much as physically possible on each day. 




































If you have yet to sample a TimeLine Event at this railway you will be in for a real treat, as anyone that has been with us before will tell you just how accommodating and professional they are. 










A second day will be added if the 7th sells out fast. The second day will be the 6th.
