to the Royal Gunpowder Museum for another exciting photo opportunity, this time
we use the derelict buildings and vast open spaces as our backdrop for a
glamour and fashion shoot. An opportunity for you to put to use your skills in
photographing people and models against the very unique and fascinating
backdrop of the former munitions manufacturing site that is the Gunpowder Mills.
The Royal Gunpowder Mills, Waltham Abbey, were in operation for over 300 years; however, from the mid-1850s onwards the site was involved in developing new nitro-based explosives and propellants. The site grew in size, and gunpowder became less important. Shortly after WWII it became solely a Defence Research Establishment - firstly the Explosives Research and Development Establishment, then the Propellants, Explosives and Rocket Motor Establishment Waltham Abbey; and finally the Royal Armament Research and Development Establishment Waltham Abbey. Its superior production methods and high quality results earned it a reputation on an international.
Our visit to this fabulous location will see using some of the fantastically rustic buildings and locations as our backdrop for what is going to be an epic model shoot with two beautiful models in an industrial setting. Our session will start in one of the site buildings at 11.00 where we will discuss the shoot and meet the models. From here we head out on location with our models to start a relaxed and informative model shoot. If you have never been to the museum be prepared to be taken-a-back by the shear size of the place and the vast number great locations available.
Our models for the day will have a variety of changes but at this time of year we will be seeing them in a variety of winter outfits with an element of implied nude.
This event is only open to 12 participants so we expect
tickets to sell fast for this unique experience so urge early booking to avoid
disappointment.
