About this event

Having spent all her preserved life sporting an LNER Apple Green livery in 2013 TimeLine Events successfully negotiated with the Scottish Railway Preservation Society (SRPS) the opportunity to give Morayshire a transformation into the BR lined black livery that many remember her in when she last saw service under the ownership of British Railways. Having received so many fantastic pledges of support from around 50 photographers, on a cold, wet late February morning a team of dedicated individuals travelled to Bo'ness to start the work that eventually returned the old girl to what many believe to be the best livery she had ever carried. Work complete and the weather improving TimeLine Events returned to Scotland in early May to run the first of a series of photographic days with her on her home line, the Bo'ness & Kinsail Railway. These days were hugely successful and left us in no doubt that the project had been worth all the effort, producing some of the best railway images of 2014.

Having completed a successful trip to the GCR in October 2014 (albeit with less than favourable Charter weather) we are very pleased to announce with thanks to the SRPS & Museums of Scotland the next stage in the life of Morayshire, a trip back South sees her visit the Nene Valley Railway in February, and then over to the North Norfolk for their Gala in early March. We are therefore really pleased to be able to bring you four further days of photo events, two at the NVR and then two further days at the NNR ahead of their Gala in early March.  Each of these days will see her star with different consists, this day, the 2nd of March will see her on a rake of 4 Red & Cream MK1 Coaches, plus the only operational Gresley Teak painted in the Red & Cream livery that these coaches were seen in from the early 1950's. To make for some different shots and locations we have requested the loco be facing into Sheringham, a direction not seen on photo charters for a few years.

Our start time will be 8.00am and we will have full use of the line throughout the day with visits to capture this wonderful combination at various locations, including, subject to sunshine the legendary Glint field at the end of the day. There will be a short lunch break and crew change at Weybourne during the middle of the day and after sunset we will return to Sheringham where we will hold a short night shoot with re-enactors playing the part of passengers. The night shoot will be using the Quad Art Coaches.

We expect demand for these days to be extremely high so to avoid disappointment we recommend an early booking.

Event cost £65.00 per person, (includes the night shoot).
