About this event

Having spent all her preserved life sporting an LNER Apple Green livery in 2013 TimeLine Events successfully negotiated with the Scottish Railway Preservation Society (SRPS) the opportunity to give Morayshire a transformation into the BR lined black livery that many remember her in when she last saw service under the ownership of British Railways. Having received so many fantastic pledges of support from around 50 photographers, on a cold, wet late February morning a team of dedicated individuals travelled to Bo'ness to start the work that eventually returned the old girl to what many believe to be the best livery she had ever carried. Work complete and the weather improving TimeLine Events returned to Scotland in early May to run the first of a series of photographic days with her on her home line, the Bo'ness & Kinsail Railway. These days were hugely successful and left us in no doubt that the project had been worth all the effort, producing some of the best railway images of 2014.

Having completed a successful trip to the GCR in October 2014 (albeit with less than favourable Charter weather) we are very pleased to announce the next stage in the life of Morayshire, a trip back South sees her visit the Nene Valley Railway in February, and then over to the North Norfolk for their Gala in early March. In addition to our daytime event on the 2nd we will be holding a evening photography session with Morayshire at the railways Sheringham Station. The shoot will see her paired with the railways Quad-Art Teak Coaches. There is something wonderful about the atmosphere of a steam train at night, especially when in such a fine setting and when there are period correct passengers and staff to bring such scenes to life.

Our start time for the night shoot will be approximately 6.00pm when we hope to capture an electric blue sky, we will run until 8.30pm.

Event cost £25.00 per person, night shoot only.
